About Eleyele School of Nursing

Formerly called the Oyo State School of Nursing, it was founded in 1949 and housed at the Old Army Barracks in Eleyele, Ibadan.

The Oyo State School of Midwifery was founded in 1954 at Yemetu. Together, they became the Oyo State College of Nursing and Midwifery.

Eleyele School of Nursing Entry Requirements

Following the completion of their four-year program, students will be allowed to sit for the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN) Final Qualifying Examinations to become General Nurses and to become able to register as Registered Nurses (RN) with the NMCN.

• 1. JAMB: Candidates must have selected OYSCONME as their choice of institution and received a score of at least 200 in the JAMB results.
• 2. Have WAEC/SSCE/GCE or NECO/SSCE/GCE with a minimum of five (5) credits earned in English language, mathematics, physics, chemistry, and biology at more than two (2) sittings.
