  • A foreign school leaving certificate that meets the minimum admission requirements for degree study as gazetted by the Matriculation Board for international students.
  • A National Senior Certificate (NSC) with degree endorsement.
  • A National Certificate Vocational (NCV) at NQF Level 4 with degree endorsement, an  Amended Senior Certificate (ASC) with degree endorsement, or a Senior Certificate (SC) with university exemption or degree endorsement (the Matriculation Board will perform equivalency evaluation)
  • If a student has earned a minimal overall average of 65%, they may be eligible to enroll in a cognate Bachelor’s degree after completing a Higher Certificate.

  • Senate admission at its discretion
  • Conditions apply to those who are 45 years of age or older.
    Prior Learning Recognition (RPL)

  • English and mathematics or mathematical literacy at NQF level 4 or above
