What is the Global Leadership Fellows Program?
The World Economic Forum Global Leadership Fellowship program is a multiannual program that combines intensive on-the-job experience, an innovative learning curriculum, personalized access and guidance, and an extensive network of former students.

What is the World Economic Forum about?
The World Economic Forum, based in Cologny-Geneva, Switzerland, is an NGO, founded in 1971, with a membership of 1,000 multinationals corporations, on whose behalf it lobbies, primarily for deregulation.
However, the Forum engages the foremost political, business and other leaders of society to shape global, regional and industry agendas. Note, it is funded by its 1,000 member companies, typically global enterprises with more than five billion dollars in turnover (varying by industry and region).
The WEF hosts an annual meeting at the end of January in Davos, a mountain resort in Graubünden, in the eastern Alps region of Switzerland.

The application for the 2020 Global Leadership Fellows Programme is open. Meanwhile, positions that are tied to the Global Leadership Fellows Programme will be posted throughout the year on a rolling basis on our career website.
Note, the Global Leadership Fellows Programme will start in July 2020.

What are the requirements for the Global Leadership Fellows Programme?
The minimum entry requirements include a master’s degree, a minimum of four years of work experience and strong leadership potential.
Can I apply if I have not yet completed my master’s degree?
Yes. However, you should have graduated from your degree before the start of the academic modules. Given that these modules begin in November, you should have completed your studies before then. You may be asked to submit proof of graduation.
Where will I be based?
The Global Leadership Fellows Program is based in Geneva, Switzerland. Your job assignment will be located in one of three locations: Beijing, Geneva or New York.
Do I need recommendation letters?
No. All we require are names and contact details of three references. If you are shortlisted for a position, we will contact your references only after you have given your written agreement.
