UTSA Departmental Scholarships
In addition to the General University of Texas at San Antonio scholarships, many departments offer their own scholarships to allow students to pay tuition.
They include but not limited to the following:

For example, the College of Liberal and Fine Arts offers the annual Kangaroo Court scholarship for Texas, Inc., restaurants for students in their department.
This award offers the recipient a scholarship worth $ 2,000 per year. The prize is open to graduates and full-time students. Each candidate must have an average of 3.0 points, and students who specialize in geography are preferred.

UTSA offers students a range of UTSA scholarships based on their academic merit. Distinguished Presidential Scholarship is offered to students who display exceptional academic achievement in high school.
Level/Field of Study: This UTSA Scholarship 2019 is open to high school graduates/freshmen for their undergraduate study in their chosen field of study at the school.
Scholarship Worth: The amount of these scholarships is determined mainly by the ACT or ACT score of the students and their rank in their graduating class.
For instance, students who have graduated in the top 10% of their class and have at least 32 ACT can receive a grant of $24,000 over four years.
Students who have graduated in the top quarter of the class and have at least 26 credits with ACT can earn $8,000 in scholarships, which will also be divided into four equal stages over a four-year period.
However, the non-resident and international students are awarded the Distinguished Presidential Scholarship for a minimum of $1,000. Also, a waiver for non-resident tuition will be granted for the academic year if scholarship eligibility is maintained.
Also, students will automatically be considered for this scholarship when they join UTSA.

Distinguished Transfer Scholarship
UTSA offers the Distinguished Transfer Scholarship for qualified incoming transfer students who can receive up to $6,000 just by applying to UTSA.
Scholarship Worth: This scholarship is valued at up to $6,000 ($1,500 each semester) for up to two years or four semesters if renewal eligibility is maintained.
Application Deadline: The deadlines for the transfer scholarship is listed below:
Fall Transfer Priority Deadline: May 1
