Gloria Wille Bell and Carlos R. Bell Scholarships

These scholarships for University of Michigan students enrolling for the College of Engineering at CLSA College. Students must plan to enroll in a natural science field (mathematics, computer science, engineering, etc.) and be a novice.

Students from Virginia are preferred, but also students who live in certain counties of Illinois and Michigan are eligible. Students who win IL or Virginia awards receive a scholarship of $20,000 and IM students a scholarship of $10,000.

This award may be renewed every year (for a total of four years) provided the winner achieves good academic progress towards completion. Students who are interested in this scholarship will find a complete application guide through this link.

Penelope W. and E. Roe Stamp Scholarship

This scholarship is awarded each year to 18 new students, solely for their academic merit. Any student accepted for the first time as a bachelor student will be considered for this scholarship. Scholarships are worth $20,000.

An additional $5,000 is available for students to study or do research abroad during their stay at the university. Further advantages are also available for stamp seekers.
