Universities of the West Indies is delighted to call for applications from interested candidates for the Mill Reef Education Grant. Eligibility for this grant program extends to Antiguan citizens .
This grant award is aimed at financially supporting students.
Universities of the West Indies Established in 1948, UWI is the largest and longest standing higher education provider in the English-speaking Caribbean.
The University was originally instituted as an independent external college of the University of London.
Course Level: The Grant is available to pursue undergraduate programme.
Study Subject: The Grant will be awarded in the subjects offered by the University.
Scholarship Award: The Grant will be awarded $16,000.00.
Number of Scholarships: There is only one grant available.
Scholarship can be taken in the Jamaica
Eligibility: The following criteria must be met in order for applicants to be eligible for the scholarship:
- Citizens or registered certificate holders of Antigua & Barbuda;
- New or continuing students pursuing an undergraduate programme in any faculty who have not already completed a degree programme at any university.
Nationality: Antiguan citizens can apply for this grant.
College Admission Requirement
Entrance Requirements: Applicants must have their previous degree.
English Language Requirements: Applicants must be non-native English speaking applicants.
How to Apply: Applications shall be accompanied with the following documents:
- One page essay on the applicant’s educational goals;
- Two character references.
