Opportunities are available for students who wish to enroll into training education to teach in secondary school in New Zealand. The TeachNZ Science, Technology and Maths (STM) Secondary Scholarships for New Zealand Students, 2018 are now ongoing.

Each year, TeachNZ offers a limited number of scholarships to encourage people to train as teachers in the areas where there is greatest need. The training is equipped with skills in digital technologies for teaching.

These scholarships will cover core study fees and pay an allowance of up to $10,000 for participants. TeachNZ scholarships are design to make sure we’re getting the right people into the right roles.

Scholarship Type:

Opportunities are available for people commencing full-time study towards an approved Graduate Diploma/Master of Secondary Teaching starting in the 2018 academic year.

Field of study:

Scholarships are students in the field of Science, Technology and Maths (STM).

Scholarship Benefits:

These scholarships will cover core study fees and pay an allowance of up to $10,000. They are for people who will commence their study during the 2018 academic year.
