This scholarship is offered every two years. All entries must be received no later than 1 September on the year of award available. Those who are pursuing Ph.D research in the field that will make use of the Susan Price Collection are invited to apply. Only one scholar will be nominated to receive $2,000 per year.
The Susan Price Collection, in the National Library of New Zealand, is a research collection of quality children’s books published mainly in Britain, America, Australia and New Zealand from the 1930’s until the present day. This Scholarship was established by Susan Price, through the Victoria University Foundation, to assist postgraduate studies and to encourage students to use the Collection in their research.
Up to $2,000 will be given to one scholars.
Level and Area of Studies
Ph.D research in English, History, Librarianship or the other relevant subjects.
Place of Study
At Victoria University, New Zealand.
Eligibility and Criteria
To be eligible, applicants must be pursuing Ph.D program in the relevant field at the University of Victoria.
New Zealanders and overseas students are welcome to apply.
