The general admissions requirements for study in Estonia are that applicants should have qualifications giving access to university studies in their home country. Additional qualifying examinations may also be required depending on the program and institution

If you are studying an English program, then learning Estonian, the native language of Estonia, is not mandatory. But it is highly recommended to take Estonian language classes (various universities offer an Estonian class as an elective subject part of your studies) so you can better integrate with other students and take part in more activities.

Dear Sir/Ma,
I would like to further my studies in Estonia. I read Electrical/Electronics Engineering from Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka in Anambra State of Nigeria. I graduated in 2006 with Third Class Honors (B.Eng) and did the compulsory one year (February 2007- February 2008 )National Youth Service Corps programme as demanded by my country, Nigeria. I have been working in both Engineering & Pharmaceutical companies since 2008 till date but I have decided to upgrade myself and improve my skills this year in Estonia.
What are the requirements for Master’s programme in Information Technology in Tallinn Institute of Technology ?
How can I learn the Estonia language and what is the duration for the language course?
I heard that some universities in Estonia are tuition free. Is the Master’s programme in Information Technology and Estonian Language course free ? If no, how much will both cost me and how will I go about the application process?
I will be happy to get a response from you soon.
Yours faithfully,
Ezeobi Donald Olisa.
