MOST POPULAR SCHOLARSHIPS IN USA: Their Worth and Deadline Yearly.

There are various scholarships and contents around the United States. Some of them are International scholarships while the others are local scholarships for just U.S citizens and sometimes they include permanent residents.

We have compiled a list of the hottest 10 among the two categories named above. READ, COMMENT AND SHARE, THE APPLY. These scholarships reoccur  annually.

  1. Coca-Cola Scholars Program Scholarship Program

An achievement-based scholarship awarded to graduating high school seniors each year. Financial need is not a factor. Students are recognized for their capacity to lead and serve, and their commitment to making a significant impact on their schools and communities.

Worth: $20,000

2. AXA Achievement Scholarships

Awarded to high school seniors who have demonstrated outstanding achievement in non-academic activities in school or community.

Worth: $25,000

3. Burger King Scholars Program

Students must have a minimum 2.5 GPA, work part-time an average of 15 hours per week unless there are extenuating circumstances, participate in community service or other activities, demonstrate financial need and plan to enroll in an accredited two- or four-year college, university or vocational/technical school by the fall term of the graduating year. Applicants do NOT need to work at Burger King, but Burger King employees are eligible.

4. Gates Millennium Scholars Program

Available to students of African American, American Indian – Alaska Native, Asian Pacific Islander American, Hispanic American ethnicity with a 3.3 GPA high school GPA and who are eligible for a Federal Pell Grant. Covers the cost of education by covering unmet need and self-help aid, including graduate school funding for continuing scholars in the areas of computer science, education, engineering, library science, mathematics, public health or science.

5. Duck Brand Duct Tape Stuck at Prom Contest

Applicants must enter as a couple wearing head-to-toe attire made from Duck Brand Duck Tape. Awards based on originality, workmanship, quality of duct tape use, color use and creative use of accessories.

6. Elks Foundation Most Valuable Student Scholarship

Awarded to high school seniors who have demonstrated scholarship, community leadership and financial need.

7. American Legion National Oratorical Contest

High school seniors must speak on some aspect of the U.S. Constitution, with some emphasis on the duties and obligations of citizens to our government. Speeches are eight to ten minutes long; three- to five-minute speeches on an assigned topic also are part of the contest.
