Oxford Brookes University is inviting applications for A scholarship from students Pursuing their Graduate Diploma in Law in 2017–18 Academic Year.

Eligibility: To be eligible to enter the competition, you must have accepted a place on the GDL at Oxford Brookes commencing in 2017–18 on or by Tuesday 1 August 2017.

In November 2016, the High Court ruled that the government’s argument that it was not necessary to obtain Parliamentary approval to trigger Article 50 of the Treaty of Lisbon was “contrary to fundamental constitutional principles of the sovereignty of parliament”. Even if, by the time you enter the competition, the Supreme Court has over-ruled the High Court, do you agree with the High Court’s ruling? Whatever your answer, please give reasons.
