The NPDC/Seplat scholarship is for Nigerian undergraduates studying in Nigerian universities, and it is important to know the exam date for the scholarship.

Seplat Joint Venture (Nigerian Petroleum Development Company Ltd (‘NPDC’) and Seplat Petroleum Development Company Plc) has organized an Undergraduate Scholarship Program for you.
The scholarship award is usually open to deserving Bachelors degree students of Federal and State Universities in Nigeria.
The NPDC Scholarship Scheme is one of Seplat’s educational Corporate Social Responsibility programs and it is designed to promote educational development and human capacity building.
About SEPLAT
Seplat Petroleum Development Company (SEPLAT) is a Nigerian independent indigenous oil and gas company listed on both the London and Nigerian stock exchanges. The company has a strategic focus in the Niger Delta of Nigeria.
The partnership of Shebah Petroleum Development Company Limited and Platform Petroleum Joint Ventures Limited formed SEPLAT in June 2009. The aim of the formation was to specifically pursue upstream oil and gas opportunities in Nigeria, and in particular divestment opportunities arising out of the incumbent Major IOC’s portfolios.
Since making its first acquisition in 2010, Seplat has grown to become a leading oil and gas operator in Nigeria. The Company has increased its production and reserves year on year and has consistently grown revenues and profits since it commenced operations.
Also, alongside its oil business, Seplat has successfully established itself as the pre-eminent supplier of natural gas to the domestic market in Nigeria. They were able to achieve this through the substantial investments they made in the commercialization, development, and monetization of the substantial gas reserves that exist on its blocks.
Now, to build a stronger relationship with the local communities in which they explore, Seplat has established the NPDC scholarships. This scholarship runs yearly since its inception and will continue to be given to students each year.
Who can apply for the Scholarship?
This NPDC scholarship is for students pursuing their undergraduate studies in any of the Public Universities in Nigeria. However, only students studying any of the following courses should apply:
Accountancy, Agricultural Engineering, Agricultural Science, Architecture, Business Administration, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science.
Economics, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Geology, Geophysics, Human Medicine, Journalism, Law, Mass Communication, Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, and Petroleum Engineering.
Host Nationality
The NPDC/Seplat Undergraduate Scholarship is hosted in Nigeria and taken in Nigerian Universities, and Polytechnics.

SEPLAT Scholarship Exam Date:
The Seplat exam Date is usually announced after successful applicants have been shortlisted for the examination and this often falls around the month of July yearly.
The result of the examination gives rise to the list of awardees for that year. The Seplat exam date for this year will be communicated to the applicant’s official email.

When is Seplat Scholarship Application Deadline?
The Seplat Scholarship has ended for this year. The deadline is usually Two weeks after publication. This Year’s Deadline was on the 15th of July.
However, since this year’s Seplat scholarship announcement, as well as the deadline, happened in July, you should mark July of next year down for another Seplat scholarship.

Instead of a scanning machine, you may take a picture of your documents with your phone and use a photo editing app to resize it. You may also download a scanner app from Play Store and then scan your documents using your phone. Once you’re done with that, relog in to the site and complete your application. I hope this helps.

The age shouldn’t be an issue, you just have to be an undergraduate in a Nigerian University to be eligible for this scholarship. Meanwhile, you can try entering your date of birth using various formats. e.g dd/mm/yy, mm/dd/yy

For Date of birth,click on the calendar symbol or use this formart year-month-day
For “limit capacity exceeded”, rename the scanned documents (Waec,Jamb and Passport) with the format stated before uploading.

Can those who gained admission through Direct Entry apply? Cause one of the required information is UTME score and Direct Entry students do not take Utme

i had reached the stage of uploading my documents in the seplat registration process, and my wifi connection briefly disconected. i cant geet back to that part., it keeps taking me back to the first part(students information).
