The Novo Nordisk Foundation is an independent Danish foundation with corporate interests. The objective of the Novo Nordisk Foundation is  To provide a stable basis for the commercial and research activities conducted by the companies within the Novo Group and to support scientific and humanitarian purposes.

The foundation supports scientific, humanitarian and social purposes. The majority of grants are given to medical and scientific projects and to other selected research areas.

LEVEL / FIELD OF STUDY:

The Novo Nordisk Foundation invites for applications for Ph.D. scholarships in nursing research.

HOST NATIONALITY:

ELIGIBLE NATIONALITY:

SCHOLARSHIP BENEFITS:

The Novo Nordisk Foundation awards up to three grants of each DKK 1,8 mio., for the support of PhD scholarships in nursing.

Novo Nordisk Foundation Nursing PhD Scholarships Eligibility:

The applicant must be a nurse and meet the requirements for attaining the PhD degree following the rules and regulations of the Ministry of Higher Education and Science (Uddannelses- og Forskningsministeriet), of September 1, 2013.

 

The scholarships are aimed at 3-year research educations for particularly promising and ambitious nurses with research projects of high quality. The applicant must be anchored at a university in Denmark, and a letter of commitment from the host institution must be submitted with the application.

Please note, that applicant must not be enrolled earlier than 1 January in the current year, they apply for a PhD scholarship within nursing research.
