The annual program is open to assist children of select active duty, reserve, National Guard or retired members of the United States military who plan to continue their education in college.
The mission of the Association is to promote, protect, and enhance the military resale and quality of life benefits on behalf of our members and the military community. The winning candidates will receive a one-time award up to $5,000.
The requirements of this scholarship fluctuate annually. Sometimes they set their conditions so high and sometimes they bring it down a little, depending on the number of applicants and average analysis of those applicants.
Students may choose any accredited college to attend. Applicants must have a grade point average of 3.5 and be high school seniors or graduates who plan to enroll for the first time at an accredited two-year or four-year college or university.

Be dependent children of active duty, reserve, National Guard or retired members of the United States military who hold valid Exchange & Commissary shopping privileges at the time of application, Be high school seniors or graduates who plan to enroll for the first time in a full-time undergraduate course of study at an accredited two-year or four-year college or university, and have a minimum cumulative 5-grade point average on a 4.0 scale or the equivalent, at the time of application.

The Adrian & Corena Swanier Education Scholarship was established in 2010 to recognize the contributions and provide educational assistance for our Military Children.
