Applications are invited for the Leonard Foundation offers a number of scholarships for Canadian students who are pursuing undergraduate degree at an accredited college or university. Up to $1,500 will be awarded to each of the successful applicants. To apply, all candidates are advised to contact the scholarship administrator for obtaining further information.
Up to 140 awards of Leonard Foundation scholarships are available each year. Those awards are targeted to all Canadian students, however, preference may be given to daughters or sons of ordained clergy, licensed elementary or secondary school teachers, Canadian military personnel, graduates of a Canadian Military College, members of the Engineering Institute of Canada and members of the Mining and Metallurgical Institute of Canada. Preference is also given to those who have previously received an award from The Leonard Foundation.
The value of the award is usually $1,000.00 for those who do not need to set up a second residence to attend university and $1,500.00 for those who do. Other benefits may also be given.

Eligibility and Criteria
The eligible candidates must be enrolled in their first undergraduate program as a full-time student. A student is considered to be full-time if when enrolled for a program’s full year credit. Only students pursuing a post graduate degree in Education or Divinity are eligible for continuing support.
