Offers for the Canadian Indspire Scholarships are now available. This scholarship is primary intended for Indigenous Canadian students whom are enrolled full-time at a post-secondary institution. They must be studying one of the majors listed below. The successful applicants will receive $1,000 – $25,000. To apply, entries must be submitted by February 1, August 1, November 1, 2017.Eligibility status can be seen below.
Indspire’s Building Brighter Futures Bursaries, Scholarships, and Awards program helps alleviate some of the financial stress students may experience. Indspire is an Indigenous-led registered charity that invests in the education of Indigenous people for the long term benefit of these individuals, their families and communities, and Canada.
Bursaries and scholarship awards vary. Each application is reviewed individually, and the amount disbursed depends on the assessed financial needs of the applicant, the number of applicants, and the availability of funds; however, historically amounts have ranged from $1,000 to $25,000.
Level and Area of Studies
Post-secondary education in the field of business, science, law, engineering, computer studies, education, social work, social sciences, fine arts, and veterinarian medicine and technical studies.
Place of Study
The study will be taken in Canada or abroad.
Eligibility and Criteria
- be a Canadian Indigenous person;
- be enrolled in an accredited institution;
- not be a member of the staff, board, or jury at the time of applying for funding support.
Only Canadian students are welcome to apply.
