Offers are up for the So-ICN2 Summer Fellowships Programme awarded to Bachelor’s/master’s degree students who will be adopted into one of the ICN2 research groups under the mentorship of the corresponding group leader.
The SO-ICN2 Summer Fellowships Programme aims to promote science and support the research careers of exceptionally talented young students.
ICN2 – Catalan Institute of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology is a non-profit international research institute located close to Barcelona, Spain. Its research lines focus on the newly discovered physical and chemical properties that arise from the fascinating behaviour of matter at the nanoscale.
Students need to demonstrate that they have a good level of written and spoken English.
Course Level: This is a summer fellowships programme.
Study Subject: Bachelor’s/master’s degree students will be integrated into one of the ICN2 research groups under the mentorship of the corresponding group leader.
Scholarship Award: 800 € gross/month. Some funding for travel is available for foreign students upon request.
Scholarship can be taken in Spain
Eligibility: Eligible candidates must be in the final year of their BSc, Masters or equivalent studies. Only students with an excellent academic background will be considered for this fellowship. Overall grades must be indicated in the online application form in order for the application to be considered.
Nationality: Foreign and Spanish students can apply for these fellowships.

Entrance Requirement: Applicants must have previous degree.

English Language Requirement: Students need to demonstrate that they have a good level of written and spoken English.

- BSc and Master´s grades must be indicated in the application form
- Academic transcript for the BSc (in Spanish, Catalan or English)
- Motivation letter
- Contact details for two referees, or two recommendation letters
