Applications for the BREAK THE SILENCE SCHOLARSHIP are currently ongoing. The scholarship is exclusively available for students from any developing countries. He or she must has been admitted to full-time master degree at the university. One fully-funded award will be given annually. The closing date of application is 4 May 2017.
The United Nations Secretary, General Ban Ki-moon has famously said, “Break the silence. When you witness violence against women and girls, do not sit back. Act.” This unique scholarship is to support a student conducting study and research to hasten an end to violence against women, whatever form that takes (eg forced marriages, human trafficking, domestic violence and FGM).
The winning student will be granted full tuition fee award, accommodation, living expenses and flights to and from London.

Eligibility and Criteria
You must be an international student from a developing country and hold an offer for a full-time Masters related to this issue at the University. Applicants must make a development case addressing how they would contribute to ending violence against women.
