  1. Dear Prof
My name is Aligholi Mardani, I am a Qashqai from Iran. Currently I live in Ankara, Turkey. I graduated from Hacettepe University – Ankara, Doctorate of Art in painting on 7/3/2018.
I am applying for the Faculty of Arts postdoctoral Fellowship Program at the University canada, and i was wondering if you are accepting any postdoctoral students this year. If so, I would like pursue a postdoc under your supervision.
As an immigrant artist of a society that changes location frequently, I reflect the symbols of
migration in my art work. My Doctorate thesis was on the concept of immigration, and my goal was to reflect the aesthetic impressions of the personal and social effects of migration through the figures, horses, striving fishes, colors and the carried objects in my paintings.

I would like to continue to work deeper in this area however I am fully open to new topics of your suggestion as well.
I believe working with you will improve me significantly and I hope I will be able to enrich the cultural variety in your department.

    Kind Regards,
    Aligholi Mardani
