AEF Matsui Writing Competition for Law Students


The Asian Pacific American Bar Association Educational Fund (AEF) is delighted to offer applications for the Matsui Writing Competition. This contest is exclusively open to those pursuing education in law subjects in the United States. The winner will be granted $1,500.

Scholarship Description
The Asian Pacific American Bar Association Educational Fund (AEF) is offering Matsui Writing Competition that was established by AEF in 2005 to honor the late Congressman Robert T. Matsui and his many accomplishments. The contest is open to all law students nationwide in the United States. Through this writing competition, AEF seeks to encourage legal scholarship on issues of importance to the Asian Pacific American community.

Award Value
The winner of the 2017 competition will receive an award of $1,500.

College or university level in law field.

Place of Study
In the United States of America.

Eligilility and Criteria
To be eligible for the competition, you must be a current student in law school or have graduated no earlier than spring 2017.

Applicants’ Nationality
All students residing in the United States are welcome to apply.
