University of Saskatchewan International Dean’s Scholarship Program in Canada


Each year the University of Saskatchewan offers a number of International Dean’s Scholarship Program. These scholarships are targeted to overseas students pursuing master or PhD program at the university. Applications are accepted in two round; December and February.

Value and Tenure:

Master’s $18,000 for up to two years

Doctoral: $22,000 for up to three years

Level and Area of Studies: Master and doctoral degree in any field.

Place of Study: The study will be taken in Canada.

Eligibility and Criteria:

  • Register for the first time in a thesis or dissertation based program at the U of S
  • Entrance GPA of at least 85%
  • Show evidence of previous research productivity as demonstrated by authorship of refereed journal publications or conference presentations/publications.

Applicants’ Nationality: International students may apply these scholarships.

How To Apply: Nominations for International Dean’s scholarships are made by academic units after you’ve applied.

Submission Deadline

1 December and 1 February each year.
