The University of York is offering Tom and Eileen House Scholarships for UK and EU students. To be eligible to apply students must hold an offer from York for any department for a full-time taught master’s course.
The University of York is a research-intensive plate glass university located in the city of York, England. Established in 1963, the campus university has expanded to more than thirty departments and centres, covering a wide range of subjects.
If English is not student’s first language, they may be asked to provide evidence of their English language ability to the required level, in addition to any academic entry requirements.
Course Level: Scholarships are available for pursuing master’s programme.
Study Subject: Scholarships are awarded to study the subjects offered by the university.
Scholarship Award: University is offering four taught Masters scholarships
- Two worth £5,000 each
- Two worth £1,000 each
Number of Scholarships: There are four scholarships available.

Eligibility: To be eligible to apply you must:
- Hold an offer from York for any department for a full-time taught Masters course
- Be living permanently in the UK or EU
Nationality: UK or EU students are eligible to apply.
College Admission Requirement
Entrance Requirement: Applicants must have their bachelor degree.
English Language Requirement: If English is not student’s first language, they may be asked to provide evidence of their English language ability to the required level, in addition to any academic entry requirements.
How to Apply: The mode of applying is online. As part of the application you must provide a statement about how the award would make a difference to your future. It should be no longer than 300 words.
