Brief Description

Swansea University is inviting applications for Fully Funded PhD Studentship in Design, Fabrication and Characterization of Microneedle-Based Devices for Cancer Immunotherapy. This studentship is open to UK/EU candidates only.

Candidates must have a first, upper second class honours or a Master’s degree (with Merit), in a relevant discipline.

Course Level: Studentship is available for PhD programme at Swansea University.

Study Subject: Studentship is available in Chemistry: Design, Fabrication and Characterization of Microneedle-Based Devices for Cancer Immunotherapy.

Number of Awards: A fully funded PhD studentship is available.

Scholarship Award: The studentship covers the full cost of UK/EU tuition fees, plus a tax free stipend of £14,296 p.a.

Scholarship can be taken in the UK

Eligibility: 

  • Candidates must have a first, upper second class honours or a Master’s degree (with Merit), in a relevant discipline. Preference will be given to candidates with a strong background in chemistry and an appreciation of the drug development process.
  • Due to funding restrictions, this studentship is open to UK/EU candidates only.

Nationality: This studentship is open to UK/EU candidates only.

Entrance Requirement: Candidates must have a first, upper second class honours or a Master’s degree (with Merit), in a relevant discipline.

  • Academic Transcripts and Degree Certificates – academic transcripts and degree certificates must be submitted along with the scholarship application by the funding deadline. We will be using these to verify your academic qualifications.
  • A recent CV
  • Applicants should use the ‘Supplementary Personal Statement’ section of the application form to explain why the award they are applying for particularly matches their skills and experience and research interests.
