Nicholas Wooldridge Annual Scholarship Essay Competition is now open. Entries are accepted until 15 December each year. Ideal candidates are students of an accredited college or university in the upcoming semester. To apply, applicants must submit a 1000-word essay on this subject before the deadline.

Scholarship Description
This scholarship was established to help raise awareness of miscarriages of justice and turn a light on those cases.
Mr. Wooldridge has embraced Martin Luther King’s quote, “Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere.” The civil rights leader’s words are a threat found throughout the entire garment of Mr. Wooldridge’s life, career, and daily compass.

Award Value
Successful candidate will be awarded $1,000.
