Keyman Modern Turkish Studies Fellowship Program in the United States

Applications for the Keyman Modern Turkish Studies Fellowship are now being accepted. Students from all over the world are invited to apply. They will be pursue a two-year postdoctoral programme at the Northwestern University in USA. The closing date of application is December 15, 2017.

Scholarship Description
The fellow will pursue a program of independent scholarship and teach one undergraduate class each year during their fellowship. The fellowship will run from September 1, 2018 to August 31, 2020
The aim of the fellowship is to support scholars whose research addresses transnational social processes, problems, or conflicts in connection to contemporary Turkey.

Award Value
The salary is $55,000. In addition, the Fellow is eligible for $5,000 per year to fund research and conference travel, and up to $2,000 in reimbursement for allowable relocation expenses in the first year. This is a full-time, benefits-eligible position.
The Northwestern University (NU) is a private research university based in Evanston, Illinois, with other campuses located in Chicago and Doha, Qatar, and academic programs and facilities in Washington, D.C., and San Francisco, California.

To be eligible, applicants must have a PhD degree and some publications in good international journals. English fluency is a fundamental requirement.
