Dalhousie University is pleased to invite applications for the Izaak Walton Killam Fellowship Program. The fellowship is available for any scholar pursuing postdoctoral program at the university. The closing date of application is 15 December 2017.
These fellowships are awarded annually at Dalhousie University to recently graduated scholars of superior academic research ability in any discipline. The intention of the Izaak Walton Killam Postdoctoral Fellowship program is to attract recently graduated scholars (within the past two years) of superior research ability to Dalhousie University, and to provide the recipients with the opportunity to establish themselves as productive members of the academic community.
The 2018 KPDF stipend will be $45,000 per annum. Fellowships include full benefits and a travel allowance for transportation to and from Halifax, a one-time research allowance ($3,000) and a conference travel grant ($1,000). Relocation Allowance also be covered.

Since these Fellowships are intended to attract new scholars to Dalhousie, those scholars already at Dalhousie are not eligible to apply. Questions of eligibility for these Fellowships are decided by the Associate Dean, Faculty of Graduate Studies, to whom any inquiries may be directed.
There is no citizenship restriction.
