The Oxford Brookes Poetry Centre is currently accepting applications for the International Poetry Competition. This call is intended to any poet from around the world. They must be minimum 18 years of age. The winners will receive £1,000. The closing date of application is 28 August 2017.

Program Description
The Oxford Brookes International Poetry Competition 2017 (the “Competition”) is organised by the Poetry Centre of Oxford Brookes University (“OBU”). There are two categories in the Competition i) Open and ii) English as a Second Language (ESL). To be eligible for the ESL category entrants must confirm that English is not their first language when they pay their entry fee online.

Award Value
The winners of each category will receive £1000 and both runners-up £200.
