Allen Lee Hughes Fellowship & Internship by Arena Stage in the USA
Applications for the Allen Lee Hughes fellowship and internship program. Both of the programs are intended to those who have experience in arts and related the fields. He or she must be currently pursuing a career in the professional theater. A range of benefits will be given to winners.
The goal of Arena Stage’s fellowship and internship program is to cultivate the next generation of theater professionals by providing the highest standard of training through immersion in the art and business of producing theater. Successful candidates for both programs are highly motivated individuals who have arts-related experience and training, as well as a passion for the exploration of the human condition through the dramatic forms.
Each the winners of this Allen Lee Hughes Fellowship & Internship Program will receive benefit of personalized training and in-depth, hands-on experience with seasoned professionals in artistic and technical production, arts administration, arts education and community outreach. Other benefits may also be given as follow:
- Mentorship from a senior staff member
- Professional development workshops
- Monthly meetings with directors, designers and senior staff administrators who provide insight into the overall management of the theater.
- Arena Stage provides a weekly stipend for all internships and fellowships of $300,00

Eligibility and Criteria
Fellowships are designed for recent graduates (undergraduate or graduate) and career changers interested in pursuing a career in the professional theater.
The U.S citizens may apply those programs.
