CIMI LabEx Post-doctoral Fellowships in France

The CIMI LabEx Post-doctoral Fellowship Programs are now open. Both domestic and overseas scholars are welcome to apply. They must hold doctoral qualification in mathematics or computer science. Six winners will be selected. A range of benefits will be given to the winning fellows.

Scholarship Description
CIMI LabEx offers six post-doctoral positions to be filled as from 1st of October 2017. The positions are funded for one year and may be extended for a second year. Positions are open to holders of a doctorate in mathematics or computer science obtained in France or in a foreign country. Offers are not theme-based and all mathematical and computer science disciplines are welcome. The selection will be based on excellence in scientific accomplishment and the quality of the scientific project. Interactions between mathematics and computer science will be closely examined.

Award Value
Each post-doctoral fellow will receive a net salary of €2,330 per month and thus benefit from health insurance and social coverage.

Level and Area of Studies
Postdoral program. The research areas should be developed within the activities at the Institut de Mathématiques de Toulouse (IMT) and the Institut de Recherche en Informatique de Toulouse (IRIT).

At the Institut de Mathématiques de Toulouse (IMT) and the Institut de Recherche en Informatique de Toulouse (IRIT) in France.

Eligibility and Criteria

The selection will be based on excellence in scientific accomplishment and the quality of the scientific project. Interactions between mathematics and computer science will be closely examined.

There is no nationality restriction.

The application package must be consisting the materials as follow:

  • A curriculum vitae with the list of publications
  • A motivation letter
  • The proposed scientific project (around 2 pages)
  • Two detailed recommendation letters
  • Name(s) of the local tutor/scientist(s) at the host institution (member of IMT or IRIT) together with a detailed letter of support
